15 Basic Rules of Good Citizenship
1. A good citizen loves his country, and seeks to protect and preserve its freedom and resources.
2. A good citizen recognizes that "Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people." (Proverbs 14: 34)
3. A good citizen recognizes that the people are the greatest physical resource.
4. A good citizen respects God and obeys His laws.
5. A good citizen obeys the laws of his country, unless they conflict with God’s laws.
6. A good citizen recognizes that the family is the basic unit of society, and that God’s concept of marriage is the foundation of national strength.
7. A good citizen respects the rights, security, privacy, quietness, and property of others.
8. A good citizen respects the beauty and resources of his country, and does not throw his rubbish in unauthorized places.
9. A good citizen seeks to be productive instead of dependent on others.
10. A good citizen supports good government.
11. A good citizen votes for leaders who will likely do what is best for the whole country, realizing that when we vote selfishly, we elect selfish people.
12. A good citizen is not trying to "go up the ladder" at the expense of others. He will not see other citizens suffer for his selfish goals.
13. A good citizen cooperates with good law enforcement, and will not cover up the crimes of his wantoks.
14. A good citizen promotes the wise use of natural resources.
15. A good citizen realizes the value of Freedom, and the individual responsibility to protect that Liberty diligently.
